For Dropbox (not an alternative to use for me, as I´ve too little space, and because of my 365 subscription space I´d rather use OneDrive), it is possible to right click on an internal iMac folder and choose Dropbox. How to choose iMac folders (specifically) to be uploaded/synced with OneDrive without having to duplicate/copy files to the OneDrive folder on my iMacĢ. Without coming up with alternative ideas, or alternative (or better in your eyes) sky storage places, could anyone help me with the following:ġ. Having 3 folders (+ several subfolders) at different folder locations within my iMac undergoing the auto-sync process described above, I want these folders also to be synced/updated to OneDrive. Apparently, there is only an option to choose which folders to sync in an OneDrive -> iMac world, not the other way around. I have downloaded the OneDrive app for Mac, but not sure how to set this up optimal, as the OneDrive folder needs to defined at a specific folder location on my Mac (per now, under "My documents"). Happen to be, as an Office 365 Personal subscriber, I have a 1 TB OneDrive (SkyDrive) account. using Photosync to automatically upload new files / photos / videos from iPhones, iPads, Macs to the NAS, using Power Manager and Sync Folders Pro to automatically sync between NAS and iMac, we have found our desired "sync-world", but we´ve identified some additional need for back-up security in case an accidental fire in our home. Paid storage plans include 100GB at $1.99/month and 1TB at $6.99/month. You can get around this limitation with symlinks (more on that below). Unlike Google Drive, Microsoft’s cloud storage service doesn’t feature the option to back up additional folders on your PC.OneDrive moves the Desktop, Documents, and Pictures folders to its sync directory should you choose to back them up.But here are a couple of things to be aware of: In addition to syncing your files online, OneDrive also allows you to back up your most important directories-Desktop, Documents, and Pictures-to the cloud. Provided that you’ve signed into your PC with a Microsoft Account, you should be ready to start using it. OneDrive comes pre-installed with Windows. ![]() The Panthers made their big bet Thursday night, hoping Young is an outlier who gets them out of their quarterback mess.Know all about Bryce Young Parents, Siblings, Net Worth Girlfriend, Age, Height Weight, High School, Relationship Status, Children. Young is the next step in that evolution. But both were also downgraded in the draft despite stellar college careers Brees went in the second round and Wilson was a third-rounder. Drew Brees is one of only two players with 80,000 career passing yards. ![]() Young wouldn't be the first quarterback at or below the 6-foot threshold to have NFL success. It's impossible to believe they'd do that without being sold on a prospect, which was revealed to be Young. Carolina gave up a lot to get the first pick, sending the ninth overall pick and a second-rounder this year, a first-round pick in 2024, a second-round pick in 2025 and star receiver D.J. The Panthers played it coy for more than a month after trading up to the No. Even when you account for Young's Crimson Tide teammates generally being better than most opponents, he put up otherworldly numbers (8,200 yards, 79 touchdowns over 27 games the past two seasons). He has enough arm strength to make all the throws, he's athletic, he sees the field very well and his production at Alabama - and at powerhouse Santa Ana (California) Mater Dei High School, if you want to add that - was off the charts. Young doesn't have a fatal flaw as a quarterback other than potentially, you know, the size thing. If the Panthers were unbothered by Young's height, drafting him first overall was easy. Fitterer was in the Seattle Seahawks' front office when the team drafted Wilson, and they had tremendous success with Wilson. General manager Scott Fitterer pointed out that Young had fewer passes batted down last season than Russell Wilson, who is 5-11, had in his final college season. The Panthers didn't seem to have a big problem with Young's size. New head coach Frank Reich, who was on the year-by-year quarterback carousel with the Indianapolis Colts, has to be happy to know he can build around Young. Team owner David Tepper, who took over right as Newton was declining, wanted a permanent fix. The Panthers haven't had a winning season since 2017 and quarterback play has been the biggest issue. Then the Panthers traded for Sam Darnold. Newton was a fantastic quarterback for the Panthers through the decade, including an MVP and Super Bowl appearance.īut when you don't have a quarterback, the search for one can seem endless.Īfter Newton left following the 2019 season, the team signed Teddy Bridgewater. The last time they invested in a quarterback like they did Thursday, it was Cam Newton with the first pick of the 2011 draft. The Panthers aren't a team that has taken decades to find a quarterback, though it seems that way. (AP Photo/Butch Dill, File) Panthers hope they've found a QB answer Quarterback Bryce Young will head to the Panthers as the No. ![]() He could force teams to look past size, and focus on the other things that can make a great quarterback. Or he'll dominate like he did at Alabama, and it will open doors for more quarterbacks who have been told they're not big enough to be an NFL star. Young is either going to fail to live up to his college hype, and everyone will say the Panthers should have seen it coming because he didn't match the prototype. The Panthers made a big trade with the Chicago Bears to get the first pick, and they were smitten with Young's production and skills and not concerned about his height. ![]() He was ranked as the top quarterback in the draft by most analysts. Young is such a good prospect that it didn't matter. Weighing less than 210 pounds makes a quarterback more susceptible to injury on big blind-side hits. Being a short quarterback presents challenges in a game played by behemoths on the lines. NFL teams have height and weight prototypes for a reason. And Young wasn't just a first-round pick, he was first overall. At the NFL scouting combine, he measured a little over 5-foot-10, 204 pounds. No quarterback who has weighed less than 207 pounds has been drafted in the first round since at least 2003, according to NFL.com. 736x1308px instagram highlight covers, instagram highlight covers, instagram highlight covers q&a, insta… HD phone wallpaper.1080x1920px Backgrounds for Instagram highlight, instagram highlight cover HD phone wallpaper.1080x1080px 849 about Instagram Story Highlights, instagram highlight cover HD phone wallpaper.Pink instagram, Instagram, Instagram highlight icons HD phone wallpaper 736x1308px instagram highlight covers, instagram highlight covers, instagram highlight covers q&a, insta.1080x1920px Instagram story highlights cover, black instagram HD phone wallpaper.Instagram highlights Instagram Story Highlights Instagram icons instagram highlight Black Instagram Highlight Icons Backgrounds for Instagram highlight Black and white instagram camera icon Instagram Highlight Cover Instagram Highlight Icons Instagram highlight covers Instagram Story Instagram Highlight Aesthetic Black Heart ![]() IPad 3, iPad 4, iPad Air, iPad iPad, iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, 9.7" iPad Pro: 2048x1536, 1536x2048 IPhone 12 Pro Max, iPhone 13 Pro Max, iPhone 14 Plus: 1284x2778 ![]() IPhone Xs Max, iPhone 11 Pro Max: 1242x2688 IPhone X, iPhone Xs, iPhone 11 Pro: 1125x2436 IPhone 6 plus, iPhone 6s plus, iPhone 7 plus, iPhone 8 plus: 1242x2208 ![]() IPhone 6, iPhone 6s, iPhone 7, iPhone 8: 750x1334 IPhone 5, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone SE: 640x1136 IPhone: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS: 320x480 ![]() That said, if by chance one developed a misbegotten affection for the Andrew Garfield-Marc Webb “Amazing Spider-Man” movies (which, like this, it’s no coincidence that Sony produced largely independently of Marvel), then you might actually like “Venom.” It feels as if the studio executives saw the reactions to those films and tried to just maximize superhero CGI stuff in this, eliminating anything resembling mythology or character development. I mean, Hardy is the literal face of this anti-hero origin story, but its failure is not his fault that the film (and his character’s journey) intermittently resembles “Teen Wolf” and “Liar Liar” (complete with Hardy channeling Carrey’s manic energy) explicitly feels like the byproduct of the worst sort of committee thinking. Indeed, it’s hard not to evaluate the film in light of many comments from many of the people who made it - especially director Ruben Fleischer, who vacillated between saying the film was always going to be R- and PG-13-rated, and hedged in recent interviews about how deliberately funny it’s supposed to be - since the end result is stupefyingly incomprehensible. One of the reasons that Hardy took the role of Eddie Brock/ Venom was reportedly because his son was a big fan of the character, but notwithstanding the anecdotal charm of that decision, it doesn’t seem enough for an actor of his caliber, and certainly given the bizarrely uneven effort he puts into his performance. But each is forced to decide what side they are on, and what is worth fighting for, when the duo discovers that another symbiote, Riot, has bonded with Drake and intends to turn Earth into a host planet for his species to consume. As Life Foundation foot soldiers come to retrieve the escaped alien, Eddie and Venom forge a tenuous bond via an ongoing internal dialogue, even if - outwardly - it seems like the poor human is certifiably crazy. It bestows him with incredible powers, but as he soon learns, Venom expects to use Eddie's body for its own destructive purposes. Dora Skirth ( Jenny Slate) contacts him with evidence that Drake is testing alien biology on poor and homeless subjects - merging them with “symbiotes” - he reluctantly agrees to see for himself.ĭuring his visit to the Life Foundation, Eddie is infected with a symbiote of his own, a creature called Venom. Six months later, a broke and alone Eddie has abandoned reporting for the solace of the bottom of a bottle, but when Life Foundation scientist Dr. Hardy plays Eddie Brock, a San Francisco investigative journalist who scuttles his job and his relationship after ambushing Carlton Drake ( Riz Ahmed, “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story”) with confidential information stolen from his fiancée, attorney Anne (Williams), during what was supposed to be a puff piece interview with the billionaire industrialist. That it stars Tom Hardy and Michelle Williams, two of the most gifted and consistently interesting actors in Hollywood, makes it an additional curio, but one assumes that the second or third homes they purchased with their paychecks was worth the experience of making this misguided, gobsmacking mess. ![]() It feels like a movie that is largely unaware of the progress that has been made to tell stories that are both authentic to their source material and sophisticated enough for audiences unfamiliar with that material to experience them in a real way. If, for some reason, you miss the superhero adaptations of the 1990s and early 2000s, “ Venom” might be right for you. ![]() If you are transplanting, wait until your young plants have at least two sets of true leaves and a sturdy stem before transplanting. You can also start sunflower seeds indoor in small containers for transplanting outdoors, although it is preferable to sow them directly outdoors if possible because they don’t like their roots disturbed. ![]() If you expect a frost after sowing, cover the soil with a frost cloth for the night (and don’t forget to remove it in the morning). I’ve had late frosts after sowing but the sunflower seeds survived fine because they had not sprouted yet. If you have time, you will get the best germination rates if you wait until soil temperatures are consistently 70° to 75☏ (21° to 25☌).īut, for many of us, we need to sow sooner, and you can get by with soil temperatures of 55☏ (13☌) or warmer-just be sure to protect them from critters and cover them if temperatures drop. With seeds selected that you know have time to go from seed to harvest in your growing season, you can sow the seeds as soon as the risk of frost has passed for the season. Look for interesting varieties including dwarf, tall, massive, and colorful ones. I’ve listed suggested varieties in the section on growing sunflowers in containers. These are the ones that grow nicely in containers because they do not need the root space that larger ones do. There are many other hybrids developed to grow taller. Sometimes these adjectives mean the plant will grow tall, sometimes it means the flower head will be very large but the plant may not be particularly tall. I have a long list of recommended seeds for growing giant sunflowers here. If you want large sunflowers, watch for the words ‘mammoth’, ‘giant’, ‘titan’, ‘monster’, or ‘tall’ in the names or descriptions. Check your seed packets to see what yours has to offer. Sunflowers may be bred for specific colors, heights, flower sizes, types of seed (for birds or humans), to be pollen-free, and more. Here are some sunflowers seeds at Botanical Interests (US Shipping).Įvery type of sunflower is different and not all sunflowers produce edible seeds. Most take between 50 and 120 days, but there are exceptions. If you live in a cold climate, choose varieties that grow from seed to maturity in the number of days available between last frost in spring and first frost in fall. Seeds: check the seed packet to know whether the plant will produce seeds and if they can be saved for sowing.Cut flowers: there are pollen-free types intended for cut flowers.Formation: single flower heads, multi-flower heads.Appearance and texture: long petals, short petals, fluffy, elongated….Flower colors: white, pale yellow, yellow, bright yellow, orange, bronze, rust, dark red, and bi-colored varieties.Flower sizes can be a few inches and up to 20-inches in diameter.Sizes range from dwarf types (1 to 2-feet tall) to mammoths (8 to 15 feet). The world record for sunflower height is currently 30 feet!.Sunflowers range in height from just one-foot tall to the “giant” varieties which can reach 15-feet (4.5 m) or more. Also grow in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and other sunny areas.Growing zones: Sunflowers are native to North America and can be grown as annuals everywhere from Alaska to Mexico. Can also use granular, slow-release fertilizer as directed on product label. Fertilizer: amend soil with good compost.Container growing: yes, best for smaller, dwarf varieties. Some varieties are day neutral meaning they should continue maturing as the days shorten toward fall. Flower farmers report that the closer you plant together, the more compact the flowerheads may be. Usually 1-inch deep, spacing seeds 6 to 36 inches, depending on variety.Sowing instructions: check your seed packet.Okay soil temperature: 55☏ (13☌) or warmer.Sow seeds: after risk of frost has passed. This shows how to test your soil for drainage. Full sun: 6 to 8 hours a day is ideal in a location protected from the wind. ![]() First, let’s go over the basics and what to expect. ![]() ![]() When this meter reaches one of three levels, certain attacks and special abilities become available. During combat, each character has a meter that fills up in real-time, depending on the character's speed. In addition, you may choose to attempt to flee combat. Your options are, generally, to attack a foe, use a special ability (each character can get 9, although three of these are regular attacks of varying strength), use an item, or use magic. You cannot control the movement of your characters (which is actually a bigger problem than in most console games, as position of characters is actually important in some ways). Septerra Core's combat is more akin to that in the later Final Fantasy games, or in Chrono Trigger. Most PC gamers are more accustomed to turn-based, D&D-style combat, or real-time, Diablo-style combat. In a break from tradition, she wields, not a sword but an automatic rifle which can be upgraded with such accessories as a grenade launcher.Ĭombat will be a surprise to those unfamiliar with console RPGs. That is to say, she salvages scrap dumped in the desert where she lives. However, the main character is Maya, a girl with blue hair (yet another sign of the Japanese influences on this game) who is a Junker. Septerra Core has a rather diverse cast of characters, including a couple of robots, a wierd alien guy, and a teenage girl with a big wrench. The core of Septerra (the namesake of the game) is a powerful biocomputer. Below that is a green, fertile, medieval-looking world, and so on. The shell below it is a scrap-filled desert, like something out of a Mad Max movie, with a wild west area. Each shell is different-the top one is occupied by an advanced, biotech-using race, and has a very organic feel. While floating continents (and islands, cities, castles and so on) are common in console RPGs, it's rare to have an entire world made up of them. The world of Septerra Core is a unique one, consisting of seven, concentric shells of floating continents. Indeed, the goal of the creators ( Valkyrie Studios) was to create a PC game similar to a console RPG. In this respect, Septerra Core is much more similar to a Japanese console RPG, such as Final Fantasy, Phantasy Star, or Chrono Trigger. In addition, the story is quite linear, much more so than most such games. It has no character creation system-instead, you are given a group of pre-generated characters. However, Septerra Core is unlike most PC RPGs. Septerra Core is part of the genre known as Role-playing Games or RPGs. ![]() While it can do many things besides this, it is most widely known for enabling you to run classic games on a wide range of computers and consoles through a slick graphical interface. Although war did not break out again, around 200,000 Huguenot’s made their escape from France – travelling across Europe and further afield. Eventually in 1685 the ‘’Edict of Nantes’ was renounced by Louis XIV. To try and bring about peace, essential to the wellbeing of France, Henry IV of France (a Catholic who was sympathetic to the Protestant cause) issued a decree known as the ‘Edict of Nantes’ that he hoped would deliver freedoms and tolerance for the protestant Huguenots, and in turn deliver peace and stability for the country.Īlthough a worthy effort, the level of tolerance shown waxed and waned according to domestic politics. The trauma was such that many Huguenots converted back to being Catholic. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, thousands of Huguenots were killed – effectively paralysing the Huguenot movement as so many of its leaders were killed in the massacre. The war was effectively over which family would rule France – one was Roman Catholic and the other Protestant who followed the teachings of John Calvin. The following outlines the circumstances that drove the Huguenots (French Protestants) to flee France, and how their endeavours to provided for their needy compatriots may have set up the first modern voluntary hospital in Britain.īefore telling more of how the French Hospital came to Rochester first let me outline their story of persecution that led to many Huguenots crossing the Channel to seek refuge in England.ĭuring the late 16th century there was a prolonged period of war in France that became known as the French Wars of Religion. More recently the French Hospital acquired the Visitors Centre in which it has created the only museum in Britain that tells the Huguenot story. Rochester City Council encouraged the interest of the charity by providing financial assistance towards the purchase of what was then known as Theobald Square, and a nearby property. The French Hospital / La Providence, that provides accommodation for people of Huguenot descent who are in need, arrived in Rochester in the late 1950’s. The acquisition allows women seeking treatment at Providence Women’s Center in Centralia access to the highest level of specialty services through the Providence network, according to the release, as healthcare continues to change in the country. The tranquillity of the picturesque French Hospital situated off Rochester High Street, belies a distant history of brutality that required French protestants to escape persecution, and the deprivations their infirm members would have experienced as they tried to make a new life in England This acquisition will be the cornerstone on how we grow our comprehensive women’s health care program.” “They have a long-standing reputation within our community with high marks on patient satisfaction and quality. ![]() “We are thrilled to strengthen the relationship between Providence Swedish and the clinicians of the former Olympia Obstetrics and Gynecology,” said Darin Goss, chief executive of Providence Swedish South Puget Sound.
